It's 6 days after Bella's ACL surgery, and we're starting to see our dog again :) She's still resting all day, but she's showing her personality again. She'll still be on the pain pills and antibiotics until we get her staples out next Sunday.
This is one time that I'm really happy that Todd works from home. I know it's hard for him, but I greatly appreciate that someone is here to watch over her. She's pretty much catered on hand and foot at this point, but we want her to rest both legs as much as possible. We noticed today that she'll only take a drink when I bring her water bowl over, and not when Todd does. Not sure what that's about. Maybe it's like kitchen water tasting better than bathroom water.
